Makeup Courses: Models Provided – We provide models from all Ethnic Backgrounds (White, Black, Asian, BAME, etc), enabling our students to have an understanding and learn to work with Global Skin Tones and Types from all Ethnic Backgrounds. Working with models further increases learning and practical hours on courses instead of being a model for someone else on the course taking up valuable time from the course.
Small Class Groups – Maximum of 6 students on all courses except Retail Makeup Artist with a maximum of 10 students.
1 to 1 Personalised Class Options– Most courses are also available as a 1 to 1 personalised course, with direct 1 to 1 attention with your tutor. Choose this option if you would like to maximise the time you have in class, learning and practising with just you, your model and your tutor. 1 to 1 personalised course follows the same learning & development plans as the regular classes.

Makeup Courses: All Makeup and Kit Supplied – At Seventa Makeup Academy all products are provided for the student to use during their course in class, only professional brands are used. These products have exceptional quality, are hypo-allergenic to avoid or minimise any allergic reactions, are long-lasting, respectful and caring for the skin.
SFX Courses: Professional SFX Kit & Tools Included – At Seventa Makeup Academy all products and tools you will need for the course are provided in a kit we have developed for you to use during your course. You also get to keep the kit and tools, so you can continue to practice when your course has ended. Only professional brands are used.
Makeup Courses: Added Value Benefits on All Courses – All courses come with added value benefits such as the Beginners Professional Makeup Artist Course comes with a Professional Makeup Artist Brush Set valued at over £350 included or other courses offer up to £300 in Kit Building Vouchers to get students started filling their kits with the necessary elements to practice and work within the industry.
Personalised Education & Progression Plans – All students have the opportunity to create a Personalised Education & Progression Plan with our team of Student Development Advisors (SDA’s)
Makeup Course Aftercare and Work Experience – After completing your course at Seventa Makeup Academy we will invite you to gain Work Experience working alongside Professional Makeup Artists on events and jobs provided through Seventa Image Creatives Agency. You will also gain access to Free Masterclasses, Micro Teaching Sessions and Workshops. Graduates are invited to join the Seventa Image Creative Team on high profile events and productions throughout the year.
SFX Course Aftercare and Work Experience – We partner with Exilian Studios for aftercare and work experience opportunities for graduating students. Exilian Studios provide quality character design and creation for the Film and TV industry. Credits include ITV, BBC, FOX, SKY, C4 and having the pleasure of working with stars like Ian McKellen, Amanda Donohoe and Samantha Bond and more. You will also gain access to Free Masterclasses, Micro Teaching Sessions and Workshops. Graduates are invited to join the Seventa Image Creative Team on high profile events and productions throughout the year.
Centrally located in London – Seventa Makeup Academy is located right in the heart of London’s biggest creatives area, home to London Fashion Week, the world-famous Covent Garden shopping and entertainment districts as well as all the famous West End Theatres and more.
Finance Available – Up to £2500 Finance is available provided by PayL8r, a simple payment option that enables you to pay for the courses you require now and spread the cost over a time period to suit you! You can repay in full within 30 days at 0.0% interest or choose an instalment plan to repay on a monthly basis. You can change your instalment plan at any time. Interest rates from 1% per month.
To qualify you must have: No CCJs within the last 3 years; No accounts in default; Be a UK resident; Have online/internet banking and Have a regular source of income. Finance is subject to your ability to repay the loan. If you fail a traditional credit check, rather than rejecting your application Payl8r may give you the option to submit your affordability instead by supplying an electronic 90-day bank statement.
Finance Example: Beginners Professional Makeup Artist Course £1497
Deposit: £299.40 then Monthly payments over 12 months: £139.72
Other Finance – Soon we will be able to offer Finance with higher limits, if you think you will need this please let us know.
We offer a few different ways to pay for your course investment or purchaes from our online store. All courses and shop purchases can be paid upfront or you could qualify for finance, enabling you to spread the cost.
Course Investment – 100% payment at time of booking: Purchase and pay 100% of the course fee in 1 payment.
Course Investment – The 20/80 Plan: Pay a 20% deposit and then pay the 80% balance 4 weeks before your scheduled course date. This enables you to reserve a course date by paying 20% deposit and the balance 4 weeks before your chosen course start date. For this option you will need to contact us to set this up, the 20/80 plan can not be done during the checkout process.
Course Investment or Shop Purchase Finance: Seventa Makeup Academy makes it easy for you to spread the cost of your course investment or purchases from our online shop with our simple finance options with Funding Falcon and Payl8r.
Finance can enable you to pay for your course investment or products and spread the cost over a time period to suit you, choosing a repayment plan to repay on a monthly basis.
To qualify for both Finance Options you must: have lived in the UK for over 3 years with a permanent address; have a monthly income, either from employment or pension; have No CCJs, IVAs or have missed any credit payments in the last 12 months; have disposable income.
Finance is subject to your ability to repay the loan. Credit Checks are Soft Credit Checks, a Hard Credit Check is only performed if the application is accepted and paid out.

Our cancellation policy applies to all courses, services, masterclasses, classes and sessions. Once paid your course will be confirmed and no refunds can be issued. A change of dates may be requested by you with 4 weeks (Professional Courses) / 7 Days (Consumer Masterclasses) or more notice.
For courses where only a deposit (20% of the course fee) has been paid and you cancel (not change dates), the deposit is forfeited and is non-refundable.
Placement on courses, services, masterclasses, classes and sessions is subject to availability and we have the right to cancel or make changes to course dates without notice.
Most courses (refer to individual course pages) require a minimum of 2 students to be enrolled or the course may be rescheduled. Alternatively, students have the option to upgrade their course to a 1 to 1 Personalised Course (where available), with direct 1 to 1 attention with the tutor to proceed with the scheduled course dates.

All Professional Makeup Artistry Courses at Seventa Makeup Academy are in small groups. We want you to get the full experience and attention you need to excel in our courses, so we keep things small and intimate.
Our tutor to student ratio is 1:6; meaning a maximum of 6 students is accepted for enrolment on most courses. Exceptions apply to some courses, eg. Retail Makeup Artist with a tutor to student ratio of 1:10 (maximum of 10 students).
Most courses run with a maximum of 6 students at any one time, however, this is subject to change depending on the type of course, its length and the level of direct tutor/teacher interaction required.
Courses running for the remainder of 2020 are accepting a maximum of 4 students per session, due to Covid-19. This is always in review and class sizes can be changed back to our usual levels without notice.
Most courses are also available as a 1 to 1 personalised course, with direct 1 to 1 attention with your tutor.
There are additional fees payable for 1 to 1 courses.
All 1 to 1 personalised courses follow the same learning & development plans as the regular classes.
On most courses available at Seventa Makeup Academy we will provide you with real life models to work on throughout your course. Check the course page to see if Models are provided on your chosen course.

We try to keep the range of models as diverse as possible to offer a wide variety of skin types and tones to work with to give you the confidence and skill to work with all skin types and tones.
We believe that you should learn and practice on all types of skin to further increase your learning and practical hours on your course instead of being a model for someone else on the class taking up valuable time from your course.

Seventa Makeup Academy provides Makeup Artistry Services and also many other creative professional services across the Beauty, Bridal, Fashion, Film and Music Industries through our creatives agency ‘Seventa Image Creatives Agency’. With our large contact base of freelance makeup artists at your disposal we can match you with a suitable professional for your occasion or event either in the fully equipped Seventa Makeup Academy Studio or we can also provide a full mobile service both throughout the UK and many international destinations. Yes, Seventa Makeup Academy does offer discounts on both products and courses.
Students are automatically registered on our Professional Makeup Artist Discount Program for 30% off the Ten Image Professional product range.
Discounts of 5% are offered on courses when enrolling on additional future courses and a bigger discount of 10% is available when enrolling on 2 or more courses together.
NB: Discounts only apply when choosing 100% Payment or Finance Options. Discounts do not apply when choosing the 20/80 Payment Plan.
Our courses run at regular intervals throughout the year, please check our course schedules on the course page for more information about dates and times.
We are not an approved college or training provider for this type of funding, we are a private training academy, so you would not be able to use an advanced learner loan for our courses.
All fees payable and any additional expenses that may be required throughout the course are mentioned on course description pages on our website and no additional fees or expense are required to be paid.
Your course with us is only the beginning of your journey with Seventa Makeup Academy. After completing your course at Seventa Makeup Academy we invite all graduates to gain Work Experience working alongside Professional Makeup Artists on events and jobs provided through Seventa Image Creatives Agency. You will also gain access to Free Masterclasses, Micro Teaching Sessions and Workshops.

The health of both our students and our team members is our biggest priority. We are closely following the advice of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation and introducing a wide variety of measures to minimise the impact on public health.
The Government announced that beauty services can resume in England as of the 15th of August 2020 and includes those services that work in the highest risk zone, so treatments on the face will be permitted. As circumstances continue to change our goal is, and will continue to be, to provide a safe and welcoming destination for all students and team members.
Classes/Sessions Now Available & Going Ahead
At present, all current and future scheduled classes and sessions scheduled from August 2020 are on schedule and will go ahead. Schedules and Dates will be advised privately to students that are enrolled. Of course we will regularly review the situation and advise publicly if there is any reason we need to suspend or postpone schedules again (under Government Advice).
INTRODUCING REMOTE LEARNING COURSES
The following courses will be available for remote learning:
- Introduction to SFX Makeup Course
- Casualty SFX Makeup Artist Course
We have worked very closely with our Department Heads to develop and present Live Remote Learning for courses that do not necessarily require face to face contact.
Starting in August 2020, we will be rolling out the first of these courses with the ‘Introduction to SFX Makeup’ and ‘Casualty SFX Makeup Artist’ courses both available as a Live Remote Learning Course.
These courses will still be available for students that wish to attend the academy studios as normal but will also be offered outside the classroom (at home) as a Live Remote Learning Course from August 2020, presented via a series of live video meetings working with your Tutor and SFX makeup kit, that we will provide and send to you before your course commencement date.
Current and Future students will both be able to have access to this new format learning on courses where it is available.
What to do if you want to change your course/session start dates?
Our normal cancellations and rescheduling policy currently apply. All students can reschedule their course/session provided that the start date of your course/session is further than 4 weeks away with no exceptions.
What happens if my course/session is within 4 weeks away?
We have created an exceptional circumstances policy to cover our students who are being impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We’re closely monitoring official guidance from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation in order to support the health and wellbeing of our learning community.
In relation to COVID-19, our exceptional circumstances policy applies to courses/sessions that MUST change or cancel:
– In order to comply with disease control restrictions implemented by relevant governmental or health authorities;
– In order to perform medical or disease control duties in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak;
– In the event that they are diagnosed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 by a medical or health authority;
– In the event that they have a death of an immediate family member or guest.
When does this not apply?
Unfortunately, our exceptional circumstances policy does not cover changes or cancellations made by students who wish not to attend courses/sessions of their own volition.
If you are a student that is coming from overseas (outside of the UK) and have decided not to travel of your own volition or are unable to travel due to restrictions, you will not be eligible to claim a refund under our standard or exceptional circumstances policy, however, you might be able to claim on your travel insurance.
